Mumias East MP Peter Salasya explains why he wants to marry a submissive woman

Mumias East Member of Parliament, Peter Salasya, recently opened up about his single status, highlighting the challenge of finding a life partner willing to embrace rural living.

During an interview on TV 47 hosted by media personality Betty Kyalo, the first-time MP shared his predicament. Salasya disclosed that many of the women he encountered preferred urban lifestyles, making it arduous to find compatibility.

Despite public curiosity regarding his personal life, including inquiries about his marital status and financial standing, Salasya candidly acknowledged the difficulty of securing a suitable spouse as an elected official.

He emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and referenced biblical principles of submission, expressing his desire for a partner who would embrace country living, rather than accompanying him in Nairobi due to his demanding work schedule.

Salasya outlined his preference for a busy partner who would not inundate him with messages during working hours, suggesting professions like teaching or banking as suitable matches due to their demanding schedules.

Furthermore, he expressed openness to polygamy, asserting his intention to responsibly care for multiple wives in the future.

In the interview, Salasya also underscored the significance of social media in his electoral success, noting its pivotal role in his campaign strategy, particularly in lieu of traditional methods like distributing handouts, which he lacked the financial means to pursue.
