Tiktoker Gloria Ntazola has criticized Gen Z for being lazy and disrespectful at work, claiming that many of them display a sense of entitlement despite having little to offer society. She pointed out that this generation often brags about their youth, using it as an excuse to avoid responsibilities or shirk work.
Ntazola argued that while many Gen Z individuals complain about toxic work environments, their true issue lies in their unwillingness to put in the effort or work intelligently. She remarked that many are unprepared for basic tasks such as drafting a letter, taking minutes, or even designing a website.
“You think you’re clever, but you lack the ability to do anything useful, even when placed in an office setting,” she said. “You can’t stay young forever. Being 25, 24, or 23 will pass, and you can’t keep saying, ‘I’m Gen Z, I can’t work under rules or supervision.’” Ntazola emphasized that the reality of aging would eventually catch up with them.
Ntazola also urged Gen Z to take responsibility for their lives, warning that if they don’t make real changes, they will face a future of poverty and regret. “You’ll end up like parents who struggle and blame others for the lack of opportunities. Don’t repeat the mistakes of your parents. Pride won’t get you anywhere,” she said.
She further advised young people who still live with their parents to get independent by seeking jobs. “If you’re living off your parents, you’re not just poor financially, but emotionally too, and it’s time to let go of that ego,” Ntazola stated. “Why argue with your mother when she’s already done so much for you? It’s time to hustle on your own. Stop asking people for money for frivolous things like cheap liquor. That’s not the life you should aspire to.”
