Mkokoteni Rider Wins Ksh.500K In Shabiki Kaende Jackpot

David Muya, a casual labourer, has become the first lucky winner of the recently launched Shabiki Kaende jackpot after correctly predicting 12 out of 13 match outcomes.

Muya, who hails from Lanet in Nakuru County, expressed joy upon hearing the news, admitting that he did not expect to win the jackpot.

“Yesterday, I received a call telling me that I had won, but I didn’t believe it,” he said. “But now I’m here in front of you all, with my prize money of Ksh. 500,000, and I am so grateful to God for all that he has done for me. I prayed a lot for him to help me, and he did.”

Muya plans to use the money to help his daughter finish her Form Four education, as she was unable to register for KCSE due to school arrears. The money will also go towards helping his son, who is in Junior Secondary, complete his construction project.

“I can now afford to educate my children, and I am very happy about that,” he said. “I didn’t know how I was going to pay for their education, but through prayer and the Shabiki Kaende jackpot, God has helped me. I am so grateful for this opportunity.”
