During his sermon, he used a verse from the book of Numbers to explain his actions, stating that he was the donkey that God used to foresee the mistake of the gospel musician.
Eric believes that God chose him because he has the influence and potential to bring back the gospel music industry. He admitted publicly that he is a born again Christian and is determined to see the gospel music industry back on its feet, producing hit songs once again. Despite the challenges, Eric is optimistic that everything will be back to normal through the grace of God, and that gospel music will once again be the identity of Kenyan music.
Eric’s next agenda is to address the issue of the cost of living in Kenya. He is not afraid of anyone in the government and wants them to reduce the cost of living, as people are losing their lives due to hunger and starvation. He believes that the government is capable of handling the situation, and if they do not act soon, he will unite and rally all the unites to campaign against the cost of living.
