Remember Machangi ‘Mansolo Papa’, Where is he now?

For almost five years, the popular Kikuyu comedian, Machangi Machangi Man Solo Papa, has remained largely inactive and out of the public eye. Once a staple on Kameme FM’s evening show, “Humuka (relax),” alongside veteran radio queen PM Squared (Peninah), Machangi stepped away from the mic after PM2 retired in 2019.

Since then, the comedian has kept a low profile, with no new comedy films or social media activity. It’s possible that he is focusing on personal growth and his family life, as he was known as a devoted family man prior to leaving Kameme FM.

Machangi and PM2 had a strong bond that kept them at the forefront of Kikuyu comedy for nearly a decade. His witty humor and standout comedic films earned him a household name in the Mt. Kenya region, resulting in numerous accolades and recognition. Alongside Kianangi and Wanyuru, Machangi was a prominent figure in the Kikuyu comedy scene.
