During the August 2022 general election in Kenya, Professor George Wajackoyah ran for president. With 17 degrees under his belt, he is among the most highly educated individuals in the country. Wajackoyah’s path towards education began when he was rescued from the streets after spending years as a street child. He then completed his A-levels at Mumias Boys High School before going on to attend several prestigious universities.

Having practiced law for over 25 years, Wajackoyah is also an experienced educator, having taught various subjects, including law, economics, human rights, comparative constitutional law, and international law at universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Kenya. Additionally, he is the founder of Luchiri & Co Advocates.

In the political arena, Wajackoyah is a member of the Roots Party, and his running mate is Justina Wambui Wamae. One of their primary objectives is to legalize marijuana and promote its sale as a means of paying off the country’s debts.
