The Cherangany MP has publicly hinted at decamping from the Jubilee Party to Ruto’s UDA party.
Kutuny who was speaking at Biribiriet said that he will not betray his community by supporting the wrong candidate in the upcoming 2022 General Elections.
“Elders told me never turn your back on the community, I Kutuny will not betray my community,” he said.
The Jubilee Party Deputy Secretary General added that he is only in Jubilee until the time is right for him to decamp to Hustler Nation.
“My people, don’t worry about my current political position, I’m there temporarily,” Kutuny added.
The Cherangany residents had earlier threatened to teach Kutuny a lesson if he still remained in Jubilee and even went ahead to issue him with a two months ultimatum.
Kutuny was also urged to join the United Democratic Alliance by Uasin Gishu County Governor, Jackson Mandago who said that the Rift Valley region needs to be united ahead of the General elections.
“If we really want to clinch the presidency, then we must have everyone in Rift Valley on board,” Mandago said.
