Residents of Marani village, Kisii have burnt to ashes 4 80-year-old alleged witchdoctors.
According to reports, the 4 are said to have casted a spell on a form four student who was then later found lying at a footpath leading to his home.
Cases of residents lynching suspected witchdoctors in the area are on a rise with area police asking citizens not to take matters into their own hands.
Early 2020, a 78-year-old man escaped death by a whisker after his house got burnt by angry residents.
It was reported that the man had allegedly to have also cast a dark spell on a 8-year-old.
After the 8-year-old died, residents were shocked beyond words after it was revealed that the child was one among many victims who fall prey to serial child killer, Mastan Wanjala.
