A Kisii court has ruled that Paul Marwa will spend the next 20 years behind bars after he was found guilty of stealing fundraising money meant for school fees.
Appearing before Kilgoris Principal Magistrate, D.K Matutu, Paul was handed the sentence after he was charged of stealing Ksh 90,000 and a mobile phone belonging to his neighbor, Johannes Mukono.
It was reported that the accused was in company of another man armed with a panga at a village in Transmara Location, Narok County committed the act before going into hiding.
The victim, testified that he was with his wife in bed at around 1 am when Marwa with another man broke into their house anndd demanded the cash they had collected from a just concluded Harambee.
