UGANDAN President Museveni has ordered the closure, of all worship centers and schools.
The president additionally restricted social gatherings for 42 days after the raising of covid-19 cases in Uganda.
As per news reports, Uganda has more than 50 thousand affirmed Covid-19 cases with more than 380 lives lost to the dangerous Covid virus.
Of late, several countries have been hit by the third wave that has been more stronger, with the virus said to be mutating.
In India for example, the virus has unleashed devastation with a large number of deaths reported everyday causing alarm across the world.
Uganda has taken severe measures to control the spread, Covid is highly transmitted through human droplets.
The shocking news comes at a time African countries have been battling for the scars virus.
In Kenya, the infection is said to cause havoc to with more than 170 thousand people confirmed to have contracted the deadly virus.
Tragically more than 3 thousand people have succumbed to the lethal virus,However the government is doing its best to make sure they curb its spread.
