Khaligraph Jones Anaosha Diamond Kwa Mziki: Cassypool says

Tanzanian musicians are renowned for their distinctive bongo-style vocals, but some of their foreign performances have faced cancellations, possibly due to language challenges.

What sets Khaligraph apart as a superior artist compared to Diamond and other Bongo musicians?

In a recent interview with Cassypool, Kenyan artist Khaligraph Jones is hailed as being notably superior to Diamond, despite Diamond’s impressive record of selling more pay-per-views than any other East African musician. Diamond stands out as the sole East African artist with over two billion, one hundred fifty-three million, three hundred twenty-nine thousand seven hundred forty views on YouTube.

Cassypool contends that if both Diamond and Khaligraph Jones were to hold concerts in English-speaking countries like the United States, Diamond might struggle to sell tickets to his fans. The impact of Khaligraph’s songs in the United States far surpasses that of Diamond’s tunes, with most of Diamond’s influence limited to East Africa, where the majority of his fanbase resides.

Cassypool further emphasizes, “If you were to take Khaligraph and Diamond to a place in the USA where nobody knows them and fill a stadium, the OG (Khaligraph Jones) would fill the entire stadium.” He goes on to assert that Khaligraph Jones’ track “Yego” would have a more significant impact in the United States compared to Diamond’s “Yatapita.”

Cassypool also maintains that Tanzanian artists, in general, may not match the excellence of Kenyan artists. Aside from Khaligraph Jones, he believes that many other Kenyan artists, including Wyre and Dufla Diligon, have the potential to outperform their Tanzanian counterparts on a global scale.
