Kabugi Set to Vie for a Nakuru Political Seat in 2027

Kenyan digital creator Kennedy Kabugi has announced his intention to run for a political office in the 2027 elections.

During an interview with Oga Obinna, Kabugi stated his commitment to being on the ballot, though he has yet to decide on a specific position. “In 2027, I will be on the ballot. I haven’t settled on the exact post yet, but I must be on the ballot,” he declared.

Kabugi hinted that he might run for the Member of Parliament seat for Nakuru East constituency. If that does not work out, he is considering a bid for a higher office such as senator. “I will try for MP in Nakuru East, and if that fails, I will consider running for senator or governor,” he said.

He did not specify whether he plans to run as an independent candidate or align himself with a political party.

The announcement was shared on Nairobi Gossip’s Instagram page, garnering a variety of reactions from fans.
