Flamboyant politician and former Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo on Saturday, July 24, splashed loads of cash to a crowd in Meru where he had attended a meeting at the Kenya Methodist University.
Moments while delivering his speech, Kabogo pulled wards from his pocket and gave it to a man who was standing next to the podium.
He went on to call a lady from the crowd and gave her Ksh 10,000 and told her to go buy food for her kids.
“I am not here to show everyone that I have money but to demonstrate that money is important to Kenyans,” Kabogo stated.
He quoted Matthew 7:22 which states;
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
“When you to heaven and fail to see your pastor, do not feel bad,” he continued.
