Jowie Irungu risks going back to jail after the DPP moved to court seeking cancelation of his bond after he allegedly assaulted a man in a club.
The Directorate of Public Prosecutions filed the application claiming that the matter was reported at Langata police station by Rodgers Ochieng Okuta on March 7,2021.
That the accused has not only gone against the honourable court’s finding on the location or place of abode when honourable judge granted the bail terms by being away from Nakuru County. He continues to move and reside within Langata area being the secondary crime scene and the locality of the potential witnesses who have and are yet to testify,read the application in part.
Jowie’s lawyer, David Ayuo however told Justice Githua that the claimant withdrew the matter and they reached an agreement.
Irungu is currently out on bond where he is the prime suspect in the murder of businesswoman, Monica Kimani.
The ruling will be made on 28 September, 2021.
