In an interview with Lynn Ngugi, langata MP and radio host Felix Odiwuor, also known as Jalang’o, shared some previously unknown details about his relationship with Citizen TV news presenter and former Hot 96 co-host Jeff Koinange. Jalang’o denied rumors that he and Koinange were feuding, stating that the two are still close friends and that Koinange even gifted him a watch from Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet worth over Sh3 million on his birthday.
He also shared his experience of working with Koinange, saying that despite initial doubts, the two created magic on their show. Jalang’o also revealed that his decision to leave Hot 96 for Milele FM was due to an offer from his friend and brother, Alex Mwakideu, and that his former boss at Royal Media Services, Fred Afune, has never forgiven him for leaving.
