Inooro’S Kamau Wa Kangethe Awarded by President Uhuru For His Outstanding Work & Knowledge for Newspapers

Royal Media Services (RMS) journalist Kamau wa Kang’ethe has been awarded by President Uhuru Kenyatta for his extraordinary work in the media and community at large.

The Journalist who airs a morning show on week day at Inooro TV and a Sunday show at Inooro FM was accorded a Head of State Commendation (HSC) Civilian Division and will now enjoy the numerous benefits which comes with the honor.

As per sources, the prsenter was awarded for his role in uniting Kenyans particularly those from the Mt Kenya region through his Sunday “Ngogoyo” show which plays old Kikuyu songs. In addition, he was recognized for his extraordinary way of informing Kenyans through his articulate interpretation of newspapers.

The Journalist was recently rumoured to be eying a top political seat in Nyandarua County in the forthcoming General Elections. He however maintained that he is currently not interested in any elective position.

Kamau now joins the list of a few local presenters who boasts of the award who include Waithira Muithirania and Njogu Wa Njoroge of Kameme FM.
