According to reports, a Kenyan rapper was a victim of a gunpoint robbery on Wednesday night.
During an interview with Obidan Dela, Trio Mio recounted the incident, stating that he was leaving the studio at around 1 am when he was approached by a group of men.
Before he could even lock his car, two of the three men were already standing next to him. One was wielding a gun, and the other held a machete.
The robbers forcefully took two of his phones and the keys to his car. Trio Mio described the ordeal as terrifying, with the robbers threatening a security officer who tried to intervene.
“I was willing to give them anything, even my clothes and shoes, as long as they spared my life. They had already pointed the gun at me and threatened me with it. I handed over my two phones and gave them the car keys,” he recounted.
Trio Mio expressed gratitude that he was unharmed and able to walk away from the incident.
