Ichagaki ward MCA, Charles Mwangi has declared his interest in The Maragua Constituency Member seat.
Ichagaki One as he is commonly known speaking exclusively to Murang’a Newspaper stated that he will vye for the seat under Azimio La Umoja which is headlined by Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader, Raila Odinga.
“I will vye for the seat under Azimio because I believe that Raila is the leader that Kenya wants,” he said.
Mwangi also went on to add that seeing that Uhuru is seemingly supporting Raila, he believes that the former Prime Minister will bring developments in his Constituency.
“I will be present in all the meetings held by Raila in the Mt Kenya Region. Also, I am declaring that I will vye for Maragua Parliamentary Seat under Azimio,” he added.
He went on to request Maragua residents to support him seeing that the sitting MP has in the past few months been accused by residents off laxity in development projects.
Odinga is touring Murang’a County to popularise his Azimio La Umoja ahead of the general elections.
