“In my late 20s, I was staying in a relationship with someone toxic. There were a lot of insecurities and he was very controlling. Very insecure, he was a lot of bad things and it got to a point where I felt like I needed to leave and I needed to break it off with him,” she said. she said.

Muthoni shared how she eventually broke off the relationship and went through a difficult period of healing and self-improvement. She encouraged women in similar situations to focus on themselves and not be afraid to leave toxic relationships. Muthoni recently tied the knot with her fiancé, Isaac Ng’ang’a, after meeting him at a chama party where he complimented her smile.
