Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu marked International Hug Day over the weekend by sharing a photo of herself embracing Nairobi Governor Sakaja.

The picture, which showed the mother of three holding the governor tight, received a mixed reaction from her followers. Some asked her to find a man and settle down, while others joked about her single status. One fan, @monniemonience, commented that Karen was unable to find her own man.

In response, Karen jokingly said she needed help and asked not to be told how to plan her life. The senator is currently single after allegedly breaking up with the father of her two children, Samidoh, in December.
