“I expected a House Ksh 500K and Car”: Ndindi Nyoro lookalike complains MP gave him Sh100K only

Last week, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro met with Joshua Kiprop Chemei, who had requested his assistance. The two men, who bear a striking resemblance to each other, met in Nyoro’s office, and the MP shared photos of the meeting on his social media accounts. He noted that investigations had begun into their family histories.

Following the meeting, Nyoro gave Chemei a sum of money, which the musician has since complained was insufficient. In an interview with a local media outlet, Chemei stated that he had only received Ksh100,000 from Nyoro, which he believed was a small amount considering the embarrassment he had caused himself and his community by holding a placard requesting the MP’s help. Chemei added that he had used the money to purchase a single speaker and was currently experiencing financial difficulties. He expressed the hope that Nyoro would have provided him with more substantial assistance, such as funds to build a house or a car, as another MP had done for a colleague of his.

Chemei is now appealing to Kenyans for help in raising funds to build a house and pay his children’s school fees. He explained that he could no longer borrow money because people believed he was wealthy after receiving the Ksh100,000 from Nyoro.
