Dismas Mokua, a resident of Buruburu has given green light to Kenyans after he shared on
Instagram of how he managed to repay the 70,000 shillings bank loan that was in default.
Dismas, who is a cleaner in one of the private universities in Nairobi says he took a loan of 250k
from the bank with an aim of clearing the college fees for his daughter who is yet to sit for her
final exams. He said that his monthly salary of 20,000 shillings could not cater for all his family
needs and as well pay his daughter’s college fees.
“I was blacklisted by the bank on CRB for failure to clear the remaining balance and I couldn’t
get any loan from any financial institution after I defaulted the loan repayment. I had worries on
where to get the money to settle my loan not knowing that God had plans for me.” Dismas
stated. He claims that the loan used to give him sleepless nights and he was always thinking on
how he could manage to repay the loan and be free from the debt.
“Luckily, I discovered a way of making quick money when I came across a particular online blog
