According to Pascal a resident of Mwamabanza village where the said child was believed to
have been buried, they all witnessed the 9-year-old die on his way to a district hospital. The kid
got sick from unknown condition but was not lucky to survive on as his way to hospital. A week
later, his burial was conducted in the village.
Two days after they laid him to rest, sources from a nearby forest reached the village that he
was seen. This was the first time such an incident occurred and so a large number of people
turned out to witness this drama. As Pascal says, he too took his time and rushed to the scene
where they saw a body of the believed boy lying on the twigs.
Musa another witness says that he poured cold water to the body and to his surprise, the boy
moved his hand and neck, something that meant he was indeed alive. They took him washes
him well. It was not a film for the faint hearted as some people had to run for their dear lives as
they had never seen a similar incidence in their lives again.
Close family friends of the family however said, one of the family members seeked the services
of a herbal man after he realized the death of the boy. He was always in love with him and after
receiving the news of his dead nephew he landed at the herbalist work place. Even though he
was not so sure if the spells would work, but things finally came to pass. The incident has made
thousand of people visit the boy’s home to at least shake hands with a man risen from dead.
