Andrew Kibe has recently revealed his plans to undergo a paternity test alongside his father in an effort to determine whether they share a biological connection.
During a discussion on the Andrew Kibe Show, the former radio presenter openly expressed his desire to find out the truth about his biological parentage and put any lingering doubts to rest.
“I am seriously considering arranging a DNA test for both my father and myself. If there has been any infidelity on my mother’s part, it would come as a shocking revelation to her. Once I return to Kenya, my first priority will be to organize the DNA test between my father and me,” he explained.
Kibe, who has gained popularity online, outlined his plan to take his father out for a meal of grilled meat (nyama choma) and beer upon his arrival in the country. During the meal, if his father happens to cough, he intends to offer him a handkerchief, which he will later take to a laboratory for DNA testing.
“As I’m treating him to nyama choma and Guinness and observing him, if he coughs, I will hand him a handkerchief and ask him to use it. Once he’s done, I’ll ask for the handkerchief, dispose of it, and take it to the lab for testing, stating that it belongs to my father,” shared Kibe.
The decision to undergo a paternity test stems from Kibe’s strained relationship with his father, which has persisted for several decades. He expressed his confusion and a desire to uncover the underlying reasons for their inability to connect.
“My father and I simply can’t seem to get along, and I honestly don’t understand why. Dad, where did we go wrong? What is it that we fail to comprehend about each other? Am I the difficult one, or are you? We need to find out because one of us is causing the trouble,” he narrated.
Kibe further stated that if the test reveals that his father is not his biological parent, it would provide an explanation for their differences. However, if the results confirm a positive match, he would have no choice but to accept his father for who he is and strive to reconcile their relationship.
