Grace: I Regret Selling My Body to A Man I Met at Safari Rally in Naivasha, He infected me HIV.

Grace, a mother of two, deeply regrets her decision to sell her body to a man she met at the Safari Rally in Naivasha. Despite being offered a large sum of money, the encounter ultimately resulted in her contracting HIV.

Growing up, Grace faced hardship after her mother passed away at a young age of five. Her grandmother stepped in to take care of her and raised her until she completed primary school. Determined to make a better life for herself, Grace sought out employment and was fortunate to land a job as a nanny. It was there that she met the man who would become her husband and father of her two children. However, the marriage was plagued by toxicity and she ultimately decided to leave him.

Feeling lost and alone, Grace returned to her grandparents’ home. After some time, she decided to relocate to Naivasha where she was introduced to prostitution. During the Safari Rally, a friend convinced her to go and look for clients there. On her first day, she was approached by a man who offered to pay her a substantial amount of money for one night. The client refused to use protection, and the two engaged in unprotected sex for the entire night. The next morning, the client gave her even more money and a tablet, which he instructed her to swallow.

Upon returning home, Grace felt ill and after three days, a friend took her to the hospital. After receiving medication, she began to feel better, but the doctor requested that she take an HIV test. To her dismay, the test came back positive and her life has been forever changed. She now struggles with the physical and emotional toll of living with HIV.
