Gospel singer Kambua Mathu reveals why she will never consider being a pastor unlike fellow celebrities

Gospel songstress Kambua recently disclosed her reasons for steering clear of the preaching ministry, a path embraced by many of her peers in the industry.

On January 22, 2023, Kambua took to social media to reminisce, sharing a throwback snapshot featuring herself alongside fellow gospel luminaries Esther Wahome and Size 8 Reborn.

This nostalgic post sparked conversations among her followers, notably prompting Emmanuel Kamarei to inquire about Kambua’s potential ordination as a pastor.

“When are you getting ordained? Your colleagues are stepping into pastoral roles,” queried Kamarei.

In her gracious response, Kambua candidly acknowledged that pastoral ministry wasn’t her designated path.

Her sincerity struck a chord with supporters, who lauded her for her authenticity and maturity.

“Remind him that you minister through music, which is equally impactful. We each possess unique gifts,” remarked Juliet Wachera.

“Wisdom at its finest,” chimed in Wairimu Karimi.

“Precisely, pastoral calling is discerned, not merely chosen. It’s a divine assignment,” shared Omullo Jay.

“I admire your response. Every individual has a distinct purpose. Much love,” expressed Jenny Wairimu.

“An honest and commendable reply. Ministry isn’t a fleeting trend. Kudos, Kambua. #ByTheWay, ‘Bado Nasimama’ remains a favorite of mine,” commended Martin Gachanju.
