A 24-year-old man has come out pleading with Kenyans of good will to come through for him after he was fired six months ago.
Bethwel Wanjala from Kitale making the plea said that he has worked with several media houses but due to Covid-19 got fired and has not been able to secure another job.

He stated that his family depends on him and now since he has no job, his neighbors have made him a laughing stock.

I’m wanjala bethwel 24yrs old. I’m from kitale, and journalist by profession… I Have worked with several media companies here in Kenya but lost my job.When people check my social media handles think I’m making a lot of money but the truth is I’m really passing through a lot..
Things are tough on my side.. I’m the first born in our family my younger siblings and everyone is looking up to me but I have no way to help.Community is laughing at me, this giving me stress meeting people who knew I’m in job but not.
I really plead for job, any media house or company or any person who is ready to help me kindly I beg help me I get out of this problem, I’m suffering a lot.”
