Former Inooro TV News Anchor Muthoni wa Mukiri Lands A Job At KTN Home

Former Inooro TV News anchor, Muthoni wa Mukiri, has announced her return to mainstream media after a two-year hiatus. She will be joining KTN Home and will be hosting a new show called

“The Skin Therapy.” The show will premiere on Sunday, January 22 at 4.30 p.m. and will be co-hosted by actress Bridget Shigadi of the Maria show.

This marks Muthoni’s first public appearance since leaving Inooro TV in 2020. During her time away from mainstream media, Muthoni continued her career as a media personality on her YouTube channel, where she specialized in life coaching and ventured into entrepreneurship.

Muthoni rose to fame while at Inooro TV, where she was one of the first anchors at the Royal Media Services-owned channel. Bridget Shigadi, on the other hand, has been thriving in her acting career, with appearances in major films in Kenya and abroad.

The debut of the new show comes at a time when KTN Home’s parent company, the Standard Media Group, is undergoing restructuring due to financial constraints faced by media companies. This process is expected to affect several journalists and other employees.
