Bradley Marongo has made a decisive move towards formalizing his collaborations with content creators and brands by introducing an official rate card.
Marongo, known for his remarkable height, has become a prominent figure on social media and in public, consistently drawing attention wherever he goes. His unique stature has been a source of fascination, with many capitalizing on it for various content creation purposes, ranging from comedic skits to brand advertisements.
This latest development signifies a major shift in how Marongo is managing his public image and the commercial opportunities that come with it. The decision follows the government’s offer to assist Bradley in obtaining essential identification documents, including his birth certificate, national ID, and passport—items he previously lacked but expressed a desire to acquire.
“Has Bradley Mtall applied for these documents? We will be glad to assist him in obtaining them as quickly as possible. If he hasn’t, we are ready to guide him through the necessary application process,” stated Citizen Service KE.
Marongo stressed the importance of a structured approach to collaborations, citing the increasing demand for his involvement in various media and advertising campaigns. He has garnered significant attention from the Kenyan public, leading to numerous favors and privileges from high-profile individuals.
Recently, the Alinur Foundation brought joy to Marongo by addressing a challenge he had long faced. “For the first time, Bradley proudly wore a shirt and long trousers, courtesy of the Alinur Foundation,” they announced. Marongo had previously mentioned that finding clothes, especially trousers, was one of his biggest challenges, making this gesture particularly meaningful.
The rate card Marongo released outlines the costs for various types of engagements, including social media promotions, advertisement appearances, live videos, and brand endorsements. Under a post titled “Bradley Goliath Rate Card,” he detailed the services and their respective rates:
- Instagram and TikTok reel: Ksh. 50,000 per reel
- Live TikTok sessions: Ksh. 20,000 per hour
- Event appearance: Ksh. 100,000 per day
- Promotional campaigns: Ksh. 150,000
- Product endorsements: Ksh. 200,000 per month
By taking this step, the “Gen Z Goliath” is not only asserting control over his image but also ensuring that he is fairly compensated for the commercial use of his likeness.
The move has sparked mixed reactions. While many commend Marongo for taking charge of his brand and ensuring he benefits from the growing interest in his unique height, others worry that it could diminish the spontaneity and accessibility that have made him a beloved figure.
As one of Kenya’s most distinctive personalities, Bradley Mtall’s decision to professionalize his engagements with content creators and brands marks a significant milestone in his career. It highlights the importance of recognizing self-worth and the value of unique attributes in the rapidly evolving world of social media and digital content creation.
