Guardian Angel was overjoyed following his recent performance at the Gospo 1 Festival, held at Sankara Hotel on August 17, 2024, which was a complete sellout.
The event was graced by fellow gospel artists and various Kenyan celebrities. In an interview with Mpasho’s Kalondu, Guardian Angel expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support he received. He shared that ticket sales remained open late into the night due to high demand, with over Ksh 200,000 worth of tickets sold in the last two days.
“I feel deeply satisfied, having achieved what I set out to do. Gospo 1 has been a tremendous success, and I am overwhelmed by the support from fellow artists, celebrities, and fans. We planned to close ticketing yesterday, but fans continued to purchase tickets up until this morning and even late into the evening before the performance. In the final two days alone, we sold tickets totaling over Ksh 200,000,” he said.
With heartfelt appreciation, Guardian Angel thanked God and acknowledged that he had no further requests, as his heart was already filled with blessings. He conveyed his love for performing for his fans, describing himself as a blessing sent by God. Guardian promised that this event was just the beginning and that he had even greater plans in store.
Expressing his deep gratitude, he thanked his fans for their unwavering support and emphasized his love for them. “This is just the beginning; we will do more and better in the future. When I perform for my fans, you will feel the love that overflows from my heart. To those whom God has sent me to sing to, I love you and appreciate your support,” he concluded.
