Emma Too, a former model, has emerged as the main complainant against Citizen TV presenter Trevor Ombija’s club in Kileleshwa. The issue began when a video clip of Ombija accusing a woman who lived near his club of causing trouble went viral. In response,
Ombija suggested that the Nairobi County government should establish a threshold for complaints against clubs in residential areas. This sparked a widespread reaction, prompting Ombija to clarify the situation. He explained that the neighbor in question had complained after he declined to offer her a landscaping job. Despite his attempts to reduce the volume and soundproof the establishment, the neighbor remained dissatisfied.
Too then confirmed on Twitter that she was the resident in question. She clarified that she had consistently raised concerns about the club and had never attacked it or mentioned its name. She also stated that an offer had been made to soundproof a part of her house, but that she had been very clear about what she expected. She emphasized that she was not intimidated by Ombija and that she would continue to press for the appropriate action to be taken.
