Kenyan comedian Timothy Kimani, also known as Njugush, has recently revealed the reason why he does not wear a wedding ring, despite being married to Celestine Ndinda. During an interview for the launch of the show “Hello Mr. Right,” Njugush explained that he lost his ring while on set.
The comedian clarified that he often removes the ring when he is on set, and on one particular day, it got lost. Njugush also revealed that the lost ring cost Sh2,500 and had his wife’s name engraved on it. He stated that he is considering getting another one soon.
Njugush also shared that before he became famous, the money he earned from acting was not enough to buy anything significant. This suggests that the total ring budget for the couple, who got married in 2012 and have two children, could have been as low as Sh5,000 for two rings.
Despite not wearing a wedding ring, Njugush and his wife, Celestine Ndinda, remain a strong couple. They are currently preparing to launch the fourth installment of their stand-up comedy special, “Through Thick and Thin 4.”
