Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has sharply criticized Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, accusing him of lacking the political strength to threaten Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.
Khalwale questioned Mudavadi’s credibility, claiming that if he truly had the power to “bring down” Natembeya, he would have demonstrated it long ago.
According to Khalwale, Raila Odinga has repeatedly defeated Mudavadi in Western Kenya for years, yet Mudavadi has never managed to counter him.
He further reminded Mudavadi that he personally beat him in his own backyard in Sabatia.
“Wewe Mudavadi uko na nguvu gani za kutisha kuangusha Natembeya? Raila amekuwa akikushinda Western for years. Mimi mwenyewe nilikushinda Sabatia. Sasa utaweza kutisha Natembeya Kitale kweli?” Khalwale posed.
The Senator insisted that Natembeya is firmly in place, adding that even National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula had failed to politically “finish” him the previous day.
“Natembeya is going nowhere. Wetang’ula alishindwa kumaliza jana, sasa tuko macho,” he said.
