On May 13, 2021,media personality Makena Njeri officially announced to the wild that she is a member of the LGBTQ community.
“I remember for the first time in my life after very many years, I looked at the mirror and said to myself ‘I am gay, I am unique and this is my truth’,” she said.
The once a Tahidi High actor has opened up on her much-criticized relationship with Michelle Ntalami, clarifying how instrumental she has been in her life.
Makena and Michelle have been a couple for quite a while and never shy from exchanging affectionate words on social media.
Ntalami is a business woman dealing with natural beauty extracts.
In a long post on Instagram, Makena, who is the Bold Network CEO,explained that Ms. Ntalami has consistently been close by through various challenges.

Meehhnnn we have experienced everything and actually like I said I can never say the entire story on one post however gradually over the long haul. I recall when I was trolled every day for a very long time for living my truth and I was so terrified of what the universe will say or do you were consistently there to help me to remember who I am,” her post read to some extent.
The former BBC correspondent proceeded to reveal that their relationship and friendship has been questioned so often.
“Our relationship and friendship was questioned so many times and you were dragged on the mud together with me so many times but not once did you fail to stand by me.
“Thank you for being a true friend through it all and when the idea of starting a company that will help other people like me to live their truth Boldly you were there through the discussions and when the time was right you held me down and who would have ever asked for a better person to come up with such a beautiful work of art a creative logo skillfully curated by you and a world-class website that many have praised since we launched,” shared Ms. Makena.
