Jubilee Billionaire operative who is currently wanted for evading Ksh 2.2 billion billion tax is said to be hiding at the Weston Hotel,Nairobi.
According to the sleuths tracking down, Mary Wambui, she is hiding in the hotel to avoid getting arrested.
According to reports, Wambui and her accomplice, Purity Njoki Mungai have been hiding in the hotel and managed to sneak away when detective showed up to arrest them.
“Upon searching the hotel premises, government officers and the police found personal belongings of the two including cash, bank cards and car keys; a clear indication that the two were residing at the hotel,” read the statement in part.
On December 6, an arrest warrant was issued against the two for contempt of court.
The mother and daughter who are directors of Purma Holdings Company failed to honor court summons to take plea in the Ksh 2.2 billion tax evasion charges.
