Becky Actress Trisha Khalid Reveals She Used to Work as a Makanga for Modern Coast

Actress Trisha Khalid recently shared insights into her humble beginnings before achieving success in the film industry during an interview with Vicky Vickinah.

Trisha recounted that her career started in the aviation industry, where she pursued cabin crew training and briefly worked in the field. Her first job, however, was as a car hire agent at a company in Mombasa. She later transitioned to a more demanding role as a bus conductor for Modern Coast.

“I was a car hire agent at a company in Mombasa. After that, I became a bus conductor for Modern Coast. That job paid me 15,000 KES per month. I used to travel from Mombasa to Nairobi and back, with no time for my family or myself,” Trisha shared.

As a bus conductor, Trisha faced significant physical demands and the challenge of managing passengers’ expectations. She noted that one of the toughest parts of the job was handling passengers’ luggage.

Recently, the actress relocated to Nairobi from Mombasa and plans to move one of her businesses to the capital.
