Andrew Kifeeeee Raises Ksh 150,000 for TikToker Nduru Man

On Friday, February 24th, a statement was released by a presenter announcing that he would be sending money to Nduru Man and Rex Papi to support their endeavors. “Way to go gents. A little encouragement goes a long way,” he stated.

The presenter had previously expressed the need to empower the boy child and had championed for Nduru Man to get a job after his TikTok counterpart, Priscilla Gakuru (Pricila wa Imani), was rewarded with ambassadorial duties.

While some praised his gesture, others questioned his selection of the two recipients. One opinion suggested that empowering does not necessarily mean reinforcing what Nduru Man is doing, but rather encouraging him to seek other ways to make money. Another argued that it was unfair to send money to Rex Papi, who allegedly parades unknown people’s faces online without their consent.

Despite the mixed reactions, the gesture was appreciated by those who saw it as a positive step towards supporting young Kenyans using social media and other platforms to market their content. Nduru Man, known for his ‘shouting’ stunts at different locations, and Rex Papi are among these young Kenyans.

In November 2022, the presenter conducted an online fundraiser for impressionist Zakaria Kariuki, alias KK Mwenyewe, to pay for school fees and fund other basic needs. The media personality recognized KK Mwenyewe’s talent and hoped that he could continue doing what he does.
