The ongoing feud between Amberay and Vera Sidika has taken a new twist, escalating to a level where both socialites are airing their deep-seated grievances, striving to convince the public of who truly lives an authentic life and who is merely putting on a façade.
Amberay contends that Vera Sidika’s lifestyle is a sham, asserting that their deceased friend, Emprassal, played a significant role in financially supporting Vera when she faced dire circumstances. According to Amberay, Vera found herself in a precarious financial situation, unable to cover the rent for a mansion she occupied in the suburbs of Kitsusuru. Consequently, she had to vacate the premises and relocate to Mombasa, leaving behind unpaid rent arrears that remain unsettled to this day.
Amberay goes on to disclose that Emprassal, a close friend to both herself and Vera Sidika, stepped in to provide financial assistance. Allegedly, Vera was not only financially strained but also pregnant. Emprassal reportedly covered her hospital bills, collaborated with Amberay to shop for baby clothes, and even arranged for a Limousine to transport Vera from the hospital.
In the spirit of camaraderie, Emprassal further secured a two-bedroom apartment in Kilimani for Vera Sidika to recuperate in comfort. However, Amberay’s animosity towards Vera stems from what she perceives as a grave betrayal. When Emprassal passed away in 2021, Vera Sidika allegedly did not contribute a single coin towards giving their mutual friend a proper send-off.
Amberay concludes her revelations by asserting that Vera Sidika’s ostentatious lifestyle is merely a facade, orchestrated for the sake of garnering social media attention and likes. According to Amberay, the authenticity of Vera’s life comes into question, particularly in light of the alleged lack of support during their friend’s final moments.
