Kenyan musician and businesswoman Esther Akoth, widely known as Akothee, has announced the rescheduling of her second wedding from July to September of this year.
During an interview with presenter Ali, Akothee shared that her wedding, which will take place in Switzerland, will be a private affair and will be exclusively broadcasted on a selected television station.
“We have decided to move the dates to September. I won’t delve into further details due to the presence of many envious eyes out there. This time around, it will be a different experience with no dramas, no social media involvement, and no countdowns. Only invited guests will be present, while others can watch it exclusively on television.”
Previously, Akothee had announced plans to fly her entire bridal team to Switzerland on July 10, 2023, to witness her exchange vows for the second time with her husband, Omosh.
The initial part of Akothee and Denis’ wedding took place on Easter Monday at the Windsor Golf Club, where a grand event was attended by government officials and celebrities.
The ceremony was a lavish affair, filled with vibrant colors and grandeur as guests arrived in style to the exclusive invitation-only gathering.
Following their honeymoon in Greece, Akothee and her husband have recently returned to Kenya. Akothee revealed that she had no prior knowledge of their honeymoon destination until they arrived at Zurich Airport.
