When Murang’a millionaires are being counted, one Agnes Irungu Kamau comes among the top 10 all thanks to her Maize milling plant.

Agnes and her husband, Jamleck Kamau got into the food production sector after years of interest in the manufacturing area.

The iron lady starting the Cannan Giant Millers first did an extensive consultation to examine the suitability of the firm and its requirements.

She, in an interview revealed that her husband was a key influencer in making the firm come to reality.

“He has a large network of friends and acquaintances who were able to provide us with a wealth of knowledge on the manufacturing business,” she explained.

They imported the manufacturing equipments and current, their milling factory is among the leading Maize flour processor in the country.

In just two years, the Cannan has become a household name to ugali lovers all over the country.

Her husband, Jamleck Kamau is currently seeking the Murang’a County Gubernatorial seat in the August polls.
