After sentencing DCI boss GEORGE KINOTI to 4 months in prison, Justice MRIMA says his life is in danger

High Court Judge, Antony Mrima, is the man of the moment after sentensing DCI Director George Kinoti to four months in jail for failing to comply with court orders expecting him to return guns that belonged to Jimi Wanjigi.

Making his address in the wake of sending the top detective to Kamiti Maximum Prison on Thursday, Judge Mrima said that he has been undermined by senior State officials over the thing was named as giving “unfavourable orders” against the State.

“Recently I handled a matter and issued some orders.”

“The orders were directed towards some senior state officers.”

“I was surprised to be approached by an emissary sent by one of the said State officers,” Mrima said.

The Judge didn’t make reference to which matter he particulary handed however said the messenger had one clear message –that he should stop being personal and cease to issue what was described as ‘unfavourable orders’.

Mrima says the message didn’t end there and was additionally told that in the event that he didn’t heed this warning, he will be dealt with solidly using numerous processes available to them.

“I am not new to such threats and actual acts of violence against me,” he said.
