For many years, my life in Mbale, Uganda felt like a constant struggle. It did not matter how many hours I worked or how many small jobs I took; I never seemed to move forward. Every time money entered my hands, a new problem appeared. Either a family emergency, a sickness, a broken device, or some unexpected bill swallowed everything. Month after month, I felt like I was stuck in the same painful cycle. I used to think maybe this was just how life was meant to be for me. But deep down, it bothered me that even people who worked less than I did seemed to be progressing while I was always trapped in the same place.
My friends often encouraged me to remain patient, but patience without results becomes tiring.
