A Nigerian woman has declared her interest in running for the country’s top seat in their next general elections.
Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, 102 years, declared her stand saying that she will be in the ballot come 2023.
The elderly woman expressed her readiness to vie in the general elections saying that age is just but a number but leadership skill never fades.
The lady who is fondly calles ‘Mama Africa’ comes from Aguata, Anambra state, Nigeria where she is the founder of ‘Voice For Senior Citizens of Nigeria group’.
“If Nigerians are shying away from political participation, she says she is ready to contest. She has already prepared a manifesto for herself. She has the vision. If the good ones don’t come out to contest,”
“If you have a male or female child, try to train them to surpass your own achievements.” she said.
