4 Family Members Buried Alive By Mudslides in Torokiat village, Narok South.

On the night of April 8th, tragedy struck the village of Torokiat in Narok South, as a family of four found themselves buried alive in a devastating mudslide. The victims, identified as a father, mother, son, and daughter, were reported to have perished in the calamity.

According to a report lodged at the Ololulunga Police Station, heavy rainfall persisted throughout the night, triggering mudslides whose exact timing remains uncertain. These natural disasters claimed the lives of all four members of the same family, as recounted by concerned members of the public.

Isaac Omare, the local police commander, confirmed the identities of the deceased as Robert Keter, aged 35, the father; Faith Keter, aged 24, the mother; Brian Keter, aged 5, the son; and Cherotich Keter, aged 3, the daughter. Tragically, they were asleep when their residence succumbed to the force of the mudslides, leading to their untimely demise.

Rescue operations are currently underway to recover the bodies of the deceased, as the community mourns the loss of these cherished members.
